Mechanism Of Action
Lipophilic tetra-esterified pro-vitamin C that readily traverses the stratum corneum lipid bilayer; intracellularly hydrolyzed to free L-ascorbic acid to inhibit tyrosinase activity, stimulate collagen types I and III biosynthesis, and quench reactive oxygen species (ROS).
